EcoSynthetix CEO John van Leeuwen Named One of Canada's Cleantech Leaders

BURLINGTON, ON, Sept. 19, 2013 /CNW/ – EcoSynthetix Inc. (TSX:ECO), a renewable chemicals company that produces a family of commercially proven bio-based products, today announced that John van Leeuwen, Chief Executive Officer, has been named to the Clean16, a top position on Canada's 2014 Clean50. Mr. van Leeuwen has led the Company's efforts to develop environmentally sustainable products that can replace fossil-based materials used in the manufacturing process for a range of industrial and consumer products.

Created by Delta Management Group, the Clean50 is an annual award that recognizes individuals who have made the greatest contributions to sustainable development or clean capitalism in Canada. With winners recognized across 16 categories, the award also names the leader within each area as a member of the Clean16.
